Artist Turns Useful Object Into The Uncomfortable

Artist Katerina Kampari is an architect and quite the rational engineer by day. By night, she dawns the cape of an artist, re-designing everyday objects for her personal project The Uncomfortable.

She uses many things to make her works, but her favorite tools are the 3dsMax and Vray.

She decided to create and design The Uncomfortable series “for all the wrong reasons. Vindictive and nasty? Or a helpful study of everyday objects?”

Her goal was to “re-design useful objects, making them uncomfortable but usable and maintain the semiotics of the original item.”
